Registrations begin now! The Deadline for all registrations is 10/26/2018. See the important message below from China Rec President Todd Dunn:

In order to bring Dirigo Rec Basketball in line with a more traditional time frame, the season will be beginning about a month earlier than in years past. Practices will begin the second week in November and games on the second weekend in December. The season will wrap up the second weekend in February with playoffs and leave February and March as free months before spring sports. In the past, practices began in December with games not commencing until January with the season not wrapping up until the first weekend in March.

In order to facilitate compiling registrants onto teams and securing coaches, uniforms, and a schedule, we need signups to begin and end within a two week window. We have implemented a deadline for registrations of October 26th so we can have a board meeting and get things rolling. Please get your child signed up and ready for a great season of basketball!

Equipment Required:

A good pair of basketball sneakers are required for basketball season, as well as a water bottle. Outside sneakers should not be worn for any children in grades 3 through 6.

Water is essential during practice and games, the league does not provide water at either. Please remind your child to bring a water bottle.

Team shirts will be provided with each timely registration. Each player should wear their team shirt to games, along with whatever bottoms they feel comfortable wearing. Bottoms will not be provided.
