Volunteers are always needed for China Rec Sports. Without parent volunteers, the organization would not exist and we wouldn't be able to provide opportunities for our children to learn Soccer and Basketball.

Volunteer opportunities include the following:

• Board Members - President, Vice President, Secretary, Equipment Manager, Uniform Manager, Soccer Commissioner and Basketball Commissioner

• Coach Positions - Head coaches for both soccer and basketball seasons

• Assistant Coach positions - Assistant to the head coach, for both soccer and basketball seasons

All volunteer opportunities re-open each and every year. If elected to the board, the position would continue through soccer and basketball season. If elected as a coach or assistant coach, the position will continue for the one season, in either soccer or basketball.

Donation opportunities:

​

China Rec Sports is always in need of financial and equipment donations. Balls generally need to be replaced every other year for soccer, every 3-4 years for basketball. Fortunately, we are able to use the school basketball nets for the season. But for soccer, nets and net frames should be replaced every 5 years or so. Currently, we are in need of new nets and frames as the current nets have been in use for more than 5 years. Any financial and/or equipment donations are welcome to provide safe equipment for our children.
